Mission
To Know Him and Make Him Known
The Triune God
We believe in one eternal God: Father, Son, Holy Spirit, equal in power; Creator of all. (Gen. 1:1-27; Deut. 6:4; Jn. 10:30)
Therefore, we will seek to live a life that honors and glorifies Him. (Matt. 5:16; Eph. 5:1a)
The Father
We believe in the perfect Father, unconditional lover of man, merciful, just, and full of grace. (Matt. 5:48; Eph. 4:4-6)
Therefore, we will commit to extending His grace and loving others unconditionally. (2 Corin.1:3-4; Eph. 3:17-18)
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, shed His blood as a perfect sacrifice, and was raised from the dead for all who believe in Him. (John 1:14; 1 John 2:2)
Therefore, we will honor His sacrifice with our obedience. (Ps. 22:23; 2 Cor. 4:10-11)
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit, the promised indwelling counselor, convicts us of sin, imparts spiritual gifts, and teaches all truth. (John 14:16, 26; Rom. 8:26-27)
Therefore, as we accept the truth and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will live our lives with purpose, using our spiritual gifts for God’s glory and proclaiming the Truth. (Rom. 8:14; Gal. 5:25)
The Bible
We believe the Bible, the living Word of God, instructs and equips God’s people, and is to be honored and cherished. (2 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 4:12)
Therefore, we will continually study and live according to His Word, teaching and equipping others. (Deut. 6:6-9; James 1:22-25; 1 Pet. 3:15)
Humankind, Sin, and Salvation
We believe man is created by God, separated from Him by sin, and reunited by the blood of Christ. (Gen. 1:27; Rom. 3:23; Rom. 10:9)
Therefore, fully understanding the consequences of sin, we will seek every opportunity to share God’s Word with others. (Mark 16:16; 1 Thes. 1:7; Rom. 10:10)
The Church
We believe the church is a body of people seeking God, loving all, and sharing the Good News of Christ. (Eph. 2:19-22; Heb. 10:24-25)
Therefore, we will be a people building relationships, sharing Christ, and encouraging individual encounters with God. (1 Thes. 5:11; 1 Pet. 4:8-11)
Prayer
We believe prayer is intimate communication with God: listening, praising, confessing, and seeking His will. (Eph. 6:18, Phil. 4:6; 1 John 5:14-15)
Therefore, we will have a continuous conversation with God, drawing near with sincerity, seeking to experience a deeper trust and relationship in Him. (Jer. 33:3; 1 Thes. 5:17)
Worship
We believe worship is willingly expressing love to God by surrendering our body, mind, soul, and spirit for God’s glory. (John 4:24; Rom. 12:2)
Therefore, we will worship Him in all areas, through all circumstances, and with all that we are. (Ps. 63:1-5; Ps. 95:1-6; 1 Chron. 16:23-31)
